Return Policy

Applicability of the return policy

This return policy is applicable for customers purchasing the products from the seller listed on www.dixmart.com or dix mart mobile application (together referred to as “Dix mart Platform”) under the section of Dix mart (together referred to as “Dix mart”)

Products eligible for return

A. Dix mart section

Products eligible for returns will only be accepted under the following conditions:

Electronics and Mobiles

  1. The product must be returned with the original packaging, sealed and unopened.
  2. If the product has been used, the original box was opened, or the original seal was removed, we will decline the refund and return the product to you unless there is a manufacturing defect.
  3. If the product is not working due to a manufacturing defect, the original box, information booklet, and all other accessories must also be returned.

Beauty and Health

  1. Hair and personal care, vitamins-dietary supplements and sports nutrition products are not eligible for return.
  2. Beauty (Cosmetics, Skin Care, etc.), fragrances, and Health products that are opened or used will not be accepted.

Home & Kitchen

  1. Furniture and large home appliances are not eligible for return.
  2. Home decor products are accepted for return only if they are unopened, free from damage, and in the original packaging.
  3. Unwrapped bedding products will not be accepted for return.
  4. Products that have been used, altered, assembled, or installed will not be accepted unless they are defective.

Automotive

  1. The product must be returned with the original packaging, sealed and unopened.
  2. If the product has been used, its original box opened, or the original seal removed, we will decline the refund and return the product to you unless there is a manufacturing defect.
  3. If the product does not work due to a manufacturing defect, the original box, information booklet, and all other accessories must also be returned.

Tools & Home Improvement

  1. The item must be returned in its original condition, including all original packaging and materials (manuals, accessories, etc.)
  2. Any item which is used or damaged will not be accepted for return.

Terms and conditions for accepting returns

  • The product must be returned with the original packaging, sealed and unopened.
  • If the product has been used, its original box opened, or the original seal removed, we will decline the refund and return the product to you.
  • For all the products having warranty tags- refer to seller warranty or manufacturing defect of the products, the customer will have to contact directly to the service center of the seller/manufacturer, as the case may be, such products are not accepted for returns by Dix mart.
  • A product will not be accepted as returned until it has been notified to the customer that it is accepted for return.

Only the products covered in the above categories will be considered for return. Products falling under other categories are not eligible for return.

Return window

Unless otherwise specified, Dix Mart offers a return window of fifteen (15) days from the date you receive the shipment in case of returnable products.

Process upon receiving the return request

Based on your location, it may take up to one week for a product to reach us once you return it. Once the item reaches our fulfillment center, allow up to two (2) business days for us to receive and process your returned product. After the return is processed, it may take up to five (5) to seven (7) business days for the refund to get credited to your credit card or Dix Mart wallet if you paid in cash. Your refund is subject to the condition of the returned product.

General conditions applicable to all returns

Dix Mart shall reserve the right to return a product to the customer if the product returned does not meet any of its guidelines or conditions. The customer shall not be entitled to any refund if the product is not eligible for return. In this case, a product is declined for a return request at any stage; such a product is under the Dix mart section. We will make two (2) attempts, and if such a product is under the Minutes section, we will make one (1) attempt to deliver the product back to the customer. In case the applicable attempts of delivery are unsuccessful, we will hold the product for three (3) business days only in our delivery hub. The customer can request another attempt with our customer care team within three (3) business days after the last notified attempt. If we receive the request from the customer for another attempt within three (3) business days post the last notified attempt, we can arrange the last attempt for delivery within two (2) business days; otherwise, the item will be sent for liquidation, and the customer won’t be able to request for the delivery of the product again. If a returned item is not part of the customer's purchase history, it will be returned to the customer. When you return an item, your refund amount and method may vary. Your refund and how it is issued may differ based on the condition of the item, how long you've had it, and how it was purchased.

How does Dix Mart handle refunds after Returning the item?
After Dix mart collects the item from you, it undergoes a thorough inspection. Once it passes QC, the refund is initiated to the original payment source as follows: The refund source table is given below:

What happens when a payment is made using a credit or debit card?

Refunds will first appear in your Dix mart credits for 24 hours. If not utilized, an automatic transfer to your source account will occur within 14 days, depending on your bank.

What if I paid with cash?

Cash payments will be credited to as gift card. If the amount exceeds SAR/AED 50, it can be transferred to your bank account.

I used a Buy Now Pay Later option like Tabby or Tamara. When can I expect the refund?

For Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) payments, the refund will be reflected in your customer account within 14-21 days depending on your BNPL partner.

Will I get a complete refund if the item is returned if I have paid for the order using the 'Credit Card EMI' payment option?

Yes, you will get a complete refund to the extent of the EMIs paid (if any) in case the order is returned.
However, banks may charge some refund or pre-closure charges. Please check with your respective bank for their policy for cancellations, refunds, and pre-closures.

Can I get a refund for the item through any other mode if I have paid using the 'Credit Card EMI' payment option?

No, the refund for an order placed using the 'Credit Card EMI' payment mode can only be done to the credit card from which the payment was made.

How can I stay updated on my refund status?

Why have I only received a part of the refund amount?

Refunds are processed item wise and you may see a part of the amount refunded while the remaining refund amount is still being processed.
Also, the shipping fee and Cod fee are non-refundable once the item is delivered to you.

Note: Once the refund is issued, we are unable to change the refund method.

If your refund status is not showing as “Approved/Declined” in My Account, and the processing time for your payment method has passed, you can contact us for further assistance.

If your refund status shows as “Approved” in My Account, and the standard time frame mentioned above has passed, and you have still not received the refund, don’t hesitate to contact your bank for more information.
